Ms. Davis made the descriptions of the area in a way that made you feel you were there with her characters. You could even feel the cold! Each story was unique in itself. I really liked all of them, but found the story of the mother finding love very interesting. After losing her husband to death, she was afraid to love again. Ms. Davis completed the story to take the reader along with her finding possible love again. Learning about the sled dogs, the Coast Guard in Alaska, and working with a vet showed that the author had done extensive research to make her stories come alive. Mixing in God's Word and knowledge just added to the story. You can't do it without Him, so why not let Him be a part of the lives of the characters0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.The one that got awayBy GypsyWhile I don't have a thing to say about the content, the writing is terrible. I can't read it at all because the writing on the pages is so small I would need a magnifying glass to read the story.
