I loved "Bared." I was okay with "Reflected" but I am downright insulted with "Entwined." This was the worst of the series and that's really saying something when you consider how mediocre "Reflected" was.This, I don't even want to call it a book; letters on paper lacked a plot, progression, romance, or even drama. It read like a porn script with little, meaningless, boring conversation thrown in the middle of who cares sex scenes. There wasn't anything romantic about Gideon and Eva's relationship in this book. Eva appears to have reverted back to a teenage nympho and Gideon has become nothing more than a spoiled little rich kid wanting what he wants when he wants it.Every character in this book lack communication skills and used raunchy, uninspired sex to compensate. By the 50% mark I couldn't have cared less if Eva and Gideon got together or not because I had grown to not like either of them. This was so much filler and trying to create problems for the series to continue and it all came off very contrived. Not to mention, this was supposed to be Gideon's story.. the man who has been having violent nightmares for the past two books and then the big reveal of the who and what happened is so meh inducing even the characters didn't spend more than a couple of sentences talking about it.Where was the drama, the excitement, the romance, the complexity that made these characters so great in "Bared" I can't believe a book that was delayed six months ended up reading so rushed and phoned in. I cannot in all honesty recommend this book and to be perfectly honest I also returned it like many other reviewers. There's no way I'm giving up my hard earned $10 bucks for a low budget porn script. I'm done with this series.8 of 8 people found the following review helpful.My Honest Opinion, love Gideon and EvaBy Josie MelendezThe only reason I can not give a 5 star review is because I felt there was not ending, or cliffhanger, It did not have an ending. I loved watching how strong Eva and Gideon's relationship and love have grown throw out their time apart from Book 2. Slyvia Day wrote an amazing book; Corrine is still up to her usual to try to get Gideon, we see Brett in this book and we are introduced to more of Gideons past but through out it Eva is more secure and strong in their relationship. My only issue is that I hope we do not have to wait for Book 4 and Book 5 to come out because I have more questions. We see that Eva has come to terms with Nathan's death and the horrible things he did to her, with Gideon's help but I can also see that Gideon has to face his demons and can see why another book is needed. Did I mention Gideon's mother has took out the biatch claws yep...take a chance and read it their is no ending but you do see growth from the pair6 of 6 people found the following review helpful.Please Un-Twine MeBy DIZNEECEI have read MANY of Sivia Days books. And I liked them all. The Bared To You Series hands down were the best. Except for this one. I'm so surprised at this book. I waited patiently for this book. Reflected was sooo good, it left you hanging, wondering what was going to happen next. And we find out exactly whats next. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Really, the only positive I can say about this book is their build up of trust. Eva wasn't annoyingly possessive and JEOLOUS like in the other books. When she felt that urge to jump into conclusions and run, she'd stop to think it over. Finally realizing that Gideon killed for her. He had no desire to be with anyone else. But there were too many incidents of that in the book. And then there's Brett, I too agree with the other readers. If Eva loved Gideon so much, she wouldn't have any type of a problem telling him to back off. Brett tells her his intentions are to,"be inside her," again. So why is it so important to have him as a friend I don't like it. Gideon gets to me a little as well with Corrine. He wants nothing to do with her and she's obsessing over him. And he goes to her when his mom tells him she's in the hospital. Like Corrine is Eva. Eva goes along with but then he sends her away. REALLY Besides all of this, this book was EXTREMELY DISSAPOIINING. I too was under the impression that this was to be a three part series. I too feel that Ms. Day is thinking of the CHA-CHING! But I tell you what, if, "Entwined to You," was anywhere near as good as the other two. If it ended like, Reflected, I wouldn't hesitate to pre-order book 4. Instead, I'm left not knowing how I should feel about this book. It's truly a shame because Gideon is a great leading man. He's the only leading man I felt could even walk in Christian Gray' s shoes. But, if you still want to give this book a try, Gideon will not disappoint. He is still, bad storyline and all, "THE MAN."See all 7874 customer reviews...
