I read it in one sitting. And I will be the first to admit that this is not the kind of book that I would normally be drawn to. As a fan of Ms. McQuinn's previous works, I was intrigued. The Raw Milk Cleanse does not disappoint. It is ripe with crucial information about our culture of health/disease and the so called food stuffs that we are ingesting everyday, and feeding to our children. It is a trusted reference guide steering one in the direction of truth, out of the fog of ignorance, and into the light of the nurtured wholeness of our Being. And if that weren't enough, Ms. McQuinn invites us into her world with such exquisite candour and vulnerability that you would swear you had milked the goats and done the cleanse right along side her. It took me awhile to find the words to describe how I was feeling after reading The Raw Milk Cleanse. In all honesty and quite fittingly, I felt soothed!! ! I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for profound insight, divine inspiration, and a soothing of the soul experience.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.First Half Ok - Second Half InspiringBy CustomerThe first half of the book pretty much made my eyes glaze over. It was too much of the details. Although I did benefit from a better understanding of how un-satisfying to our life form pasteurized milk is, how orgone-ish and healthy the raw goat's milk is.But when I got to the second half and her emotional, spiritual and physical journey through the cleanse...the actual story - that's where it got good. I don't know that I would ever do it, but it definitely made me consider it. And if I ever run across access to or a supply of raw goat's milk, I would definitely think about trying it and its superior nourishment and life affirming properties.Perhaps some people need the reference and resource material at the front of the book. Maybe author should consider breaking it down into two different books, and/or perhaps incorporating some of the explanation of the first half into the "story" form of the second half. Because the story, the journey itself is 10 times more enlightening and engaging than the background and science and study of all the "lac" s.Once I got to the second part, I didn't want to put it down.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.I didn't loose weight but my hormones were reset with it.By Honey of Honey's LifeGreat cleanse.
